The return of The Cassandra Complex after 6 long years of having a real life… And what a great record it is! The cover art is by the amazingly talented and beautiful Kathy Capri – that’s actually her on the cover photo. She originally took it as a test shot, intending to use another model for the final artwork, but we liked this picture of her so much we insisted on keeping it.
The record took a while to make, it was the first one Volker and Rodney had made without Juergen around, so it was a bit of an adjustment. But in the process we really rediscovered what The Cassandra Complex was to us. Several people have said that it sounds almost like a Greatest Hits album, it’s got so much of the whole history of the band packed inside it, but it still manages to sound really modern. It’s a fine record, one we’re very proud of.
